Preparing an import pack for an external review in Hong Kong

Professional in a suit reviewing papers in an office

External reviewers in Hong Kong usually begin with the index. If your pack has no index, they invent one—and you lose the first hour explaining where things live.

Order materials by shipment reference, then by document type. Cross-link the monthly summary row to the declaration ID. Avoid orphan PDFs named only by supplier.

Add a one-page narrative covering lanes, volume change, and known open questions. Silence looks like concealment even when nothing is wrong.

Leave space for your broker’s contact and the period covered on the cover sheet. Small formalities shorten follow-up loops more than another chart.
