Refund & cancellation policy
This policy covers professional engagements described on this site—reviews, lane briefs, documentation packs, and desk briefings. It does not cover goods or online subscriptions, which we do not sell.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Panel Horizonbase for a confirmed engagement. Website estimate requests without payment create no refund obligation.
Timeframe to request
Submit refund requests in writing to info@panel-horizonbase.click within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation before work starts, or a documented failure to deliver the agreed brief).
Full refund
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons on our side, or if you cancel in writing before we begin document review and before any booked briefing date within the cooling period stated in your engagement note (typically five business days after deposit, if no work has started).
Partial refund
If work has started—intake completed, mapping underway, or draft findings circulated—fees for completed stages are non-refundable. Unused later stages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion, documented in writing.
Non-refundable items
- Deposits once document review has begun
- Completed walkthrough or briefing sessions
- Third-party room or materials costs already incurred with your approval
- Retainer cycles already delivered for Trade Lane Analytics Briefs
Cancellation & rescheduling
Briefings may be rescheduled once without fee if you give at least three business days’ notice. Late cancellations within three business days forfeit the briefing fee unless we can fill the slot. Reviews may be paused by mutual written agreement; extended pauses beyond 60 days may require a new estimate.
No-shows
If your team does not attend a confirmed briefing and does not notify us, the session fee is charged in full. We will offer one courtesy reschedule if the no-show was due to a documented emergency.
Work already started
When mapping or drafting has begun, you remain responsible for fees covering analyst time spent to the cancellation date, based on our internal stage log shared on request.
Refund process & timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank transfers may take additional clearing time depending on your institution.
